What's the first step?

The first step is always a consultation.  This allows for a greater understanding of the situation and how we can support the needs of the individual concerned.  Our main priority is to provide support and care that enables the individual to live as independently as possible.  

Every individual requires an assessment which can be performed either in the individuals home, at the hospital or in a care home.  The purpose of the assessment is to meet and establish the individuals specific care requirements.  The assessment then enables us to prepare a person centred care plan and assign carers who are skilled in those specific areas.
